Oasis of Cartersville, Illustrious Noble Jonathan Thomas
My name is Jonathan Thomas (JT), I am the Potentate of Arabia Temple #8. My wife’s name is Katherine, and we have four children, Emily, Hannah, Logan, and Reed: and, two grandchildren, Jordan and Jace. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Reinhardt University, a Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Columbus State University.
I have been a part of the Smooth Ashlar Grand Lodge Masonic Family and the National Compact since 1993. Over the years, I have poured my heart and energy into this organization by educating myself about the craft and aspiring to sit in the leadership seat of my local Worshipful Master, High Priest, Eminent Commander, and Potentate.
Arabia Temple #8 is currently in its rebuilding phase, but our mission has never wavered. Our Mystic Shrine Temple is made up of Christian men welling to serve our communities in District #12 which extends from Cherokee County to Polk County. Hopefully after the Gala Session in April, we will have increased our membership to see the fruits of our labor.
